Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the influence of evening lighting on the emotional and physical state of a person at the end of the working day. Special attention is paid to the study of people's reactions to various lighting parameters: intensity, frequency of color change, color gamut and general style of light delivery. Exploring the relationship between the characteristics of the lighting solution and people's feelings, optimal approaches to managing the perception of the evening urban landscape are identified in order to minimize fatigue and increase satisfaction with the quality of the urban environment. As a result of the conducted research, the definition of light pollution and its consequences in megacities are considered. Practical recommendations on the use of modern digital technologies for the implementation of lighting modes within a specific area and the intended purpose of the facility are given. This work will be of interest to architects, designers and landscape design specialists seeking to create comfortable conditions for living and staying in cities.
