Abstract
This paper considers the possibility of improving the public and pedestrian space, taking into account modern trends in urban design, as well as the natural-climatic and socio-cultural features of Akademgorodok 2.0.
The main goal is to create a unique, comfortable and safe environment, reviving the individuality and uniqueness of Akademgorodok, through a functionally convenient, environmentally friendly and socio-culturally developed space through research, analysis of conflict situations, analogues, and the development of a single design code.
The environmental approach, as a research method in design, is to achieve a functionalfigurative unity of design objects with the natural environment and the artificial environment. Taking into account the historical and cultural potential of the architectural environment, architectural monuments, historical buildings.
