Siberian modern in Tomsk as a reference of modern costume design

Abstract

The article examines the history and development of Tomsk wooden architecture in the modern and its possible influence on modern costume design. Wood carving has a long and rich history in the city of Tomsk, located in the very center of Siberia. Thanks to its unique style and traditional techniques, Tomsk wood carving can be an important source of inspiration for modern costume designers.
