Author Guidelines
1. Manuscript. Submitted to the editorial board via the online form. The file with the article must be in Microsoft Word format (extension *.doc, *.docx, *.rtf).
- The volume of full manuscript text (articles, reviews, essays) (not including the list of references) should not be less than 15,000 characters (with spaces).
- Manuscript text format. The text should be typed in Times New Roman, 12 pt in size, with a line spacing of 1.0 pt. Indents on each side of the page are 2 cm. Highlighting in the text can be done ONLY in italics or bold letters, but NOT underlining. All repeating spaces and unnecessary line breaks must be removed from the text (automatically via the Microsoft Word "find and replace" service).
- The file with text of the article, uploaded to the form for submitting manuscripts, must contain all the information for publication (including figures and tables). The structure of manuscript must correspond to this template:
- English-language metadata
- Article title.
- Authors of the article (full name), position.
- Institution name (affiliation). It is necessary to use the official name of the institution, while the legal status must be given as an abbreviation. Several affiliations can be indicated.
- The abstract of the article must be structured: relevance, purpose, materials and methods, results, conclusions. The abstract must fully correspond to the content of the work. The text volume is at least 1000 characters with spaces.
- It is necessary to indicate from 5 to 10 keywords , facilitating indexing of the article in search engines. The keywords must match in pairs in Russian and English.
- Full text. For article manuscripts, the text must be structured according to the IMRAD standard with sections “Introduction,” “Methods and Materials,” and “Results and Discussion”.
- Additional information (optional)
- Information on funding. It is necessary to indicate the source of funding for both the scientific work and the process of publishing the article (foundation, commercial or government organization, private funding, etc.).
- Authors may give gratitude to people and organizations who contributed to the publication of an article in the journal but who were not its authors.
- List of links
- The list of links is divided into several sections. “References” include only original materials and publications by several authors: articles, books, dissertations and abstracts, textbooks, methodological manuals, etc.
- “Sources” includes Internet sources, archive materials, regulatory documents, and other non-original materials.
- Only those materials that were cited or mentioned in the main text are added to the specified lists. The reference to the source is given in square brackets, where the author(s)' surname or the beginning of the title is written, followed by the year of publication and pages of the cited (mentioned) text, for example: [Lynch 1976, p. 2], [Kreik et al. 2014, pp. 15–16], [Promenade 2012]. In the case of two different sources with the same author and year, the index "a", "b", etc. is added after the year, for example: [Lynch 2003a].
- Bibliography lists (sources) are formed in alphabetical order, according to GOST R 7.0.5-2008 and have their own numbering. Dashes are not placed between elements of the bibliographic description..
- References numbered in alphabetical order.
2. Tables should be placed in the text of the article. Tables should not be excessively wide, forcing the font size in them to be reduced below 10 pt. References to tables in the text are mandatory.
3. Figures (graphs, diagrams, charts, drawings, photographs and other illustrations) must be necessary. Each figure must be placed in the text and accompanied by a numbered caption (Figure 1). References to figures in the text are required.
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The manuscripts are accepted if has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
The materials should be prepared in a format OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or World Perfect.
Internet links are provided as a complete URL.
Text should be typed with an interval of one and a half line spacing, font Times New Roman, 14 pt; to highlight the accents it is recommended to use italics rather than underlining (except Internet links). All images, graphics and tables are placed within the text according to the meaning of the particular part of text (and not at the end of the document).
Text should follow the stylistic and bibliography requirements as stated in Regulations located in the Part "About Us."
Please, remove the authors' names from the title of the article and other parts of the document to ensure the anonymity of reviewing.
