Abstract
Aerobics as a Means of Improving Students' Motivation for Classes. This article examines the problem of low student motivation in higher education institutions when organizing physical education classes. The hypothesis put forward is the need to incorporate the modern fitness trend of "health aerobics" into the curriculum to increase motivation for academic physical education classes. This paper presents sets of exercises developed by the author, used in physical education lessons for students of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education named after Kryachkov Novosibirsk State University of Architecture, Design and Arts, studying in the Architecture program within the Architectural Design program. To organize academic physical education classes, methodological features of organizing group classes in the field of "health aerobics" were studied, and music tracks proposed by leading fitness industry experts were analyzed.
