The article considers socio-architecture (healing architecture) and its relevance in the modern world. The researchers actualizing this direction in the design activity are noted. The definition and basic principles implemented in the architectural and spatial environment. Described examples of buildings and structures built from the perspective of socioarchitecture. The design solutions of the thesis work "Therapeutic and Rehabilitation Clinical Center in the Altai Krai" are verified for their compliance with the principles of healing architecture. The methods of socio-architecture that have appeared as well as those incompletely applied or not realized are revealed. The most successful ones are outlined in terms of cost-effectiveness and ease of implementation in the spatial environment and architecture. The analysis of the design of the treatment and rehabilitation center allows us to make some recommendations for introducing the principles of socio-architecture in institutions of medical and rehabilitation purpose, as part of a series of experiments in its realization.

The article deals with the problems of mutual influence of socio-cultural dynamics and the architectural environment in the context of small historical cities. The research is aimed at identifying the impact of cultural and social factors on the formation of the architectural appearance of cities with small populations and rich historical heritage. The results of the study can be useful for developing sustainable strategies for managing the development and preservation of cultural heritage in small towns.

The article analyzes the territory of the city of Arzamas, provides a historical overview of the formation of planning decisions, and identifies the unique features of the city. The purpose of this work is to study the qualitative characteristics of the urban environment, to identify prospects for the development of urban areas from the point of view of comfortable living. The author’s contribution to the study of this topic is the analysis of the existing development, the identification of “weak” points in the development of the city territory.

The article is devoted to the problems of forming spaces for collective use in residential areas. The article reveals the concept of "space for collective use", as well as describes the main prerequisites for their creation in residential areas, existing experience, including in Novosibirsk, legal instruments for the formation of territories for collective use. The article also presents projects carried out at NSUADA and dedicated to solving this problem.

A modern approach to the design of playground facilities in the natural locations of Akademgorodok is considered. The influence of modern trends and research on shaping, material selection, zoning and site attributes is shown. Sociological research has been carried out, and the wishes of consumers — children and their parents — have been taken into account. Design options for playground equipment are presented.

The article analyzes a special type of activity — visual creativity. Current aspects of visual impact are considered, including the art of iconic messages. The problems of social advertising are covered.

The article describes the constructive solution of the NSUADA building and the results of a survey of building structures conducted in different years. Surveys have shown that some structures are in a limited operational or emergency condition. The necessary repairs were carried out with these structures. The last structural survey conducted in 2023 revealed a number of serious defects in one of the reinforced concrete beams of the basement floor. Defects indicate a decrease in its bearing capacity. For further reliable operation, it is proposed to strengthen it. Several options for reinforcing a reinforced concrete beam are given. The final choice of one of the options is related to the technical and economic aspects of the selected option. But any chosen option will increase the reliability of the reinforced concrete beam, and its further operation will be safe.

The article touches upon the general issues of creating parametric objects in various professional programs for architectural design. A creative method based on creation of parametric objects with the help of programming and on the basis of artistic experiments consisting in obtaining arrays of aesthetically significant graphical data is proposed. These experiments were carried out in Archicad program using GDL scripts, PARAM-O module in combination with traditional graphic capabilities. The method is illustrated on concrete examples, the conclusion is made that the architect, who knows how to program or works together with a programmer, is able to enrich his creative palette, and the use of synthetic method of design through a heuristic architectural problem and its solution by software means, gives nonstandard interesting results from the artistic point of view.

The article deals with the issues of the universality of art education in terms of employment of graduates of creative universities during periods of political and economic instability in the state on specific examples of retraining in related professions. The author shares his own experience of improving and developing creative skills, without changing the profession in the conditions of the collapse of the country in 1980–1990.

The city of Novosibirsk is the largest city in Siberia and could become a leader in terms of social and commercial improvement, but unfortunately, Novosibirsk differs unfavorably from other Russian cities in obvious shortcomings and problems in the general planning scheme of urban recreation and their condition. The heart of the city and the main treasure — the Ob River — evokes in citizens the image of an obstacle and inaccessibility, and not the image of the natural landscape beauty. The significance and great value of the river cannot be overemphasized. Everyone uses and drinks its water. Try to imagine the absence of the river, any activity will freeze. The organization of state design has completely disappeared and there is no Novosibirsk master plan workshop and city planning council. It is clear that real specialists who determine urban policy in the interests of people, society and environment will become enemies of the financial business. To compensate for the contradictions, we need a legal priority system for state and business programs and supervisory bodies in the city administration, consisting not of officials, but of active design specialists. Sidewalks, lawns, beaches, and recreational areas along all waterfronts must be legitimized by regional regulatory policy and urban planning. It is never too late to start the process of creation. Creating the comfort, beauty and order can change our regional status. And residents — families, youth, elderly people, children will be proud of their city. I am sure that this will be a reliable foundation for Russian patriotism.
