The modular grid is the basis for designers to create order and master proportions, laws and standards. It is simple in itself as a design tool, but its application has been very different in different historical periods in social media. After studying foreign studies, we found that grid studies in the United States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and other countries are systematic and in-depth, but in China, the dissemination of information rarely occurs through the grid. There is also the problem that there is little research on the modular grid in the context of the history of the design and use of this tool in the period of “handwriting”, easel printing and engraving, the era of the dissemination of printed information and the era of digital media. This is necessary in order to conduct a general study of modular information communication systems in China.
The purpose of this article is to investigate the role of the modular grid in the context of Chinese visual communication and media, as well as from the point of view of Chinese-foreign cultural exchanges and to identify a problem field in the research literature.
With the progress in creating the image of brands of urban and rural areas, the construction of “small areas” began to grow rapidly, which affected the improvement of the quality of life of the population. In the process of creating a regional brand in rural areas, one inevitably has to face the problem of how to simultaneously improve the quality of life of residents, but at the same time preserve the traditional style of rural areas. There is also the problem of sequential copying and the appearance of a village type. Similar elements are often found in rural construction, there is no originality of solutions. In designing the brand image of a region, it is possible to identify the features and characteristics of regional culture. To determine their aspects of difference and, thus, to solve the problem of similarity of different localities. Anzhi County of Zhejiang Province is the first National Ecological County, known as “Chinese Bamboo Town”, with a beautiful natural environment and unique ecological resources. The article considers Anzhi District as an example of successful brand image design

ПРИКЛАДНАЯ ИНФОРМАТИКА
The article presents the results of calculating the probability of trouble-free operation of a reinforced concrete column of a public building designed according to the KUB-2.5 frame system. This system is widely used nowadays for the construction of both public and residential buildings. In this regard, information about the reliability levels of the main load-bearing structures of buildings erected according to this system is very relevant. The column was chosen as the main supporting structure under consideration, as the most responsible structural element of the system. The initial data for the calculation were taken on the basis of information according to the series, regulatory documents, as well as with the involvement of the necessary reference data. The probability of failure-free operation was determined using existing linearization techniques and moments for the fifty-year life of the building.
Calculations have shown that the columns have high values of the probability of trouble-free operation. In order to assert that these values are sufficient, they must be compared with the normative values, which directly depend on the purpose of the building and premises.
