In the article, on the basis of the personal professional experience of the author, who devoted his life to teaching and scientific activities in the Russian higher school of architecture, an assessment of the concept, implementation and results of more than thirty years of the process of reforming the system of domestic higher professional education is given, the author’s view on the prospects for the development of the Russian higher school is presented.
The article deals with the issues of changes in modeling technology on the example of works performed in Novosibirsk, starting from the second half of the 20th century to the beginning of the 21st.
The importance of this issue in architectural design is shown. The author considers in detail the issues of transformation of technological methods and the materials used. The presentation of the material is accompanied by examples of layouts made in organizations engaged in their professional production. As a result of the work, it was found that, despite the change in the purpose of the layout, it still remains in demand. The emergence of new industrial technologies leads to a significant change in the process of their manufacture. The information presented in the article can be used in the training of specialists in architecture and design.
The 21st century is marked by the accelerated development of science and technology. Innovations are being introduced into various spheres of human life, the need for users in the areas of informatization is increasing, and the need for information exchange is increasing. To solve these problems in architecture, media objects are formed spaces or institutions that ensure the functioning of communication processes. These include a wide group of objects: cultural and information centers, information and educational complexes, research facilities, commercial media complexes, etc. Thus, we can conclude that the architecture of media objects reflects the current socio-cultural trends and the level of technological development of society.
Since media objects are aimed at solving certain problems (social, technological, etc.) in the present, the question arises whether they will be relevant in the foreseeable future with the subsequent development of society and technology and which architectural types will continue to function. To do this, this paper analyzes the development directions of architectural types of media objects in the 21st century, and also establishes trends that reflect changes in their relevance in the future.

The significance of the Museum of History of the SB RAS in the formation and preservation of the territorial identity of the Novosibirsk Academgorodok is revealed.
It is assumed that the reconstruction of the museum will significantly increase the exposition and educational opportunities, make it an important “center of gravity” in the region, increase interest in its funds and in Akademgorodok as a whole, and strengthen the function of the museum as an important factor in the formation of the territorial identity of the scientific campus.
The main problems of the functioning of the Museum of the History of the SB RAS in the building of the house-museum of Academician Lavrentiev in the Novosibirsk Academgorodok are investigated.
The necessity of reconstruction of the museum building and the adjacent land plot, renovation of interiors and exhibition exposition, introduction of innovative means into the activities of the museum is substantiated. Opportunities are being considered for the reconstruction of the museum, the development of interiors and a plan for organizing a land plot, taking into account innovative methods for organizing the architectural environment. This article describes the actual experience of designing a fragment of the urban environment in the city center of the Koltsovo science city in the Novosibirsk region. The modern stage of the formation of the center is also shown. Particular attention is paid to design tools that allow you to broadcast the uniqueness and identity in the projected area. On a specific example, the methodology is analyzed from setting the main tasks and determining the principles of design in the formation of the urban environment to methods and methods for solving them.

The article deals with the methodological aspect of the style of the object environment formation in design. The role of the “leader-form” is revealed as the basics of creating multi-subject ensembles from objects of various functional purposes. The features of the process of style formation of the subject environment in historical practice are considered. A methodology for educational design of multi-subject ensembles based on the “leader-form” is implemented and tested at the Novosibirsk State University of Architecture, Design and Arts named after A.D. Kryachkov. Using an example from the experience of implementing an algorithm is disclosed and the stages at the style of formation of an object ensemble are determined based on a new design methodology. The methodological effectiveness of the introduction of this technique in the educational process in the preparation of a new generation of shelter design, as well as modern professional design practice, is noted.
Theatrical costume as a screen reflects all the components of the production the concept of the idea, imagery, expressiveness and mood of the action as a whole. The experience of the Novosibirsk Academic Youth Theater “Globus” in staging activities can serve as an indicative array of data for improving the process of designing various components of a theatrical production, including the design of stage costumes.

The article examines the later work of Novosibirsk artist Mikhail Sergeyevich Ombysh-Kuznetsov and analyzes individual works from the cycle “Closed Paintings”. This cycle traces the polemic with the political and socio-social life of the new, post-Soviet space, in which traditional themes suddenly turned out to be unclaimed, and akin to “paper architecture”, impracticable in reality. Written outside the social order, “Closed paintings” reveal an increase in metaphorical sound, a multifaceted reading of the subject image. The main visual and motivating motive is the “wrong side” of the artist’s workflow, packed canvases. The method of creating a “illusion” allows M.S. Ombysh-Kuznetsov to reflect on uncreated paintings, and,
further developing the pictorial motif, turning the “Closed paintings” from one side to the viewer, opening the canvases, examining the textures, giving them different emotional expressiveness, semantic subtext.

Under modern conditions, the processes of globalization inevitably involve all universities in the global educational environment. Globalization contributes to strengthening of international cooperation in education. Actually, the internationalization of the university is considered as one of the most important characteristics of the competitiveness of a modern university. In the process of internationalization of higher education, the importance of training competitive specialists, who capable exert influence on the development of all economic processes is increasing. Within the framework of internationalization processes, the creative university needs to be clearly aware of its prospects and opportunities, objectively assess its strengths and weaknesses in order to successfully develop and advance in the international educational space. The article analyzes the experience of international cooperation of Russian universities, including creative universities. The main problems and prospects of international cooperation are identified. A number of measures for successful international cooperation of the creative university are proposed .
In the article, the diversity of cultural languages is presented as a prerequisite for communication in the modern educational space. Semantic, technical and praxeological problems of information interaction “teacher-student” are considered from the standpoint of the complex use of cultural languages on the example of philosophical education
The article’s goal was to analyzes the possibility of the influence of individual interpreters’ specific features when translating from one language into another. The competencies required for translation are determined. Examples of the most typical mistakes that can be made by professional interpreters are given. The process of translation practice is considered. The article states that extralinguistic factors together with professional linguistic knowledge and skills are needed as well. The extralinguistic factors could be as follows: the socio-cognitive sphere (culture, value system and worldview), the individual style of an interpreter, imagination, emotional perception of lexical material. The culturological aspect of translation activity is discussed. The importance of taking into account the difference of cultures when translating is also noted. In conclusion it is advised to take into account both linguistic and extralinguistic factors when translating from one language to another. And if the cultures of linguistic materials are absolutely different, for example: European and African ones, extralinguistic factors are preferable.
The article presents the experience of developing actual programs for teaching fine skills, primarily drawing, future architects and designers at Kryachkov Novosibirsk State University of Architecture, Design and Art. The authors give the history of the issue, analyze changes in the content of programs and methods for monitoring the formation of competencies.
The article presents a theoretical analysis of definitions “cultural industry” and “creative industry” from an economics point of view. Author have provided classification of the products of cultural and creative industries according to the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity of the Eurasian Economic Union. Research conducted an analysis of the dynamics and structure of exports of cultural and creative industries in Russia for 2012-2021. The research has shown that creative and cultural industries have a number of specific properties, for example, better resistance to recessions and crises in the economy and faster recovery compared to the largest types of Russian exports by volume.
The article reviews the contemporary debate about the status and universality of human rights, the relationship between individual rights and community between individualistic and communitarian camps in political philosophy. Theoretical positions and arguments of different versions of liberal individualism and communitarianism, views of Western and Asian thinkers are analyzed. Some convergence of these views and the possibility of their synthesis is demonstrated.
The mythological theme in the work of the Kazakh artist T. Kozhagulov is considered. The world of wild animals and birds in the traditional culture of Kazakhstan has long carried an important complex of cult and magical categories. Since ancient times, mythological stories about totem animals that have arisen informed about them as the progenitors of the human race. In the paintings of T. Kozhagulov. found the reality of beliefs and myths of distant ancestors.

This data contains very valuable information about human behavior and social interactions, so valuable for determining consumer behavior. The use of the results of processing and analysis of such data for profit is associated not only with the ethical aspect, but also due to some contradictions. Big data touch on many realms of daily life and have profound impacts in the socio-economic context of a person’s daily life. In view of this, the study of the practice of working with big data within the creative industries, in particular PR and advertising, is becoming increasingly relevant.
